Workshop highlights wide range of forage options
A recent workshop run by the Organic Research Centre at Elm Farm in Berkshire concluded that home-grown forage crops such as lucerne, fodder beet, sainfoin, brassicas and red clover, are cost-effective to feed to cattle and sheep, and also promote environmental diversity.
