Broadstone Rare Breeds
Broadstone Rare Breeds is a family run farm located at the foot of the Preseli hills, Pembrokeshire.
Rare breeds are our passion and inspiration. On the farm we breed Devon and Cornwall longwools and Wensleydale sheep. We also have some gorgeous Traditional Hereford cattle that co-graze with our sheep.
Our high welfare farm is run using holistic approaches which focus on a calm, stress free management system, homeopathy and rotational grazing to support health. Animals graze diverse pastures of grass, flowers, herbs and hedgerows which provide them with a varied and attractive diet.
Our farming ethos is a co- creative one and we recognise that all life is interdependent. We want to provide you with high nutritional food and to do this we focus on soil health which in turn supports plant, insect and farm animal health.
Internationally we sell naturally tanned sheepskin rugs, washed and raw sheep fleece. Our meat boxes of lamb, hogget and mutton are sold via social media and our website and can be delivered throughout the UK.
