Jimmy Woodrow – Executive Director

Jimmy leads Pasture for Life in a day-to-day capacity in his role as Executive Director and Board member. He is responsible for vision and strategy and growing the capacity of the organisation to deliver on its ambitions.

Jimmy arrived at Pasture for Life from the food industry where he spent a number of years developing new business for established operators in premium segments of the sector, including Neal’s Yard Dairy and GAIL’s Bakery. Jimmy has developed specific knowledge and expertise in growing small businesses, which he is using to develop Pasture for Life into a more widely understood and visible food movement and drive public interest in the amazing products that are coming from the farms involved, from food to fibre.

In his time away from Pasture for Life, Jimmy consults for a variety of food & farming businesses on strategy and business development. He spent the first five years of his career in corporate finance and holds a BA in Geography from Oxford University and an MSc in International Relations from the London School of Economics.
